JOSEPH P. PORRVECCHIO, EPS VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER RECEIVES MEDAL AT VETERANS DAY CEREMONY

Congratulations to EPS Vice President/General Manager, Joe Porrovecchio. Joe leads EPS newest division, Alternative Energy Systems and was recognized among one of the Rockland County Veterans who served in Operation Enduring Freedom. Joe was presented the Rockland County Medal at a Veterans Day ceremony in the Rockland County Courthouse, Rockland County, New York. EPS wishes a Happy Veterans Day to all of our Veterans.



EPS IS AWARDED THE 2014 SILVER GULL AWARD FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BY THE MONMOUTH-OCEAN DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (MODC) AT THE 49TH ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER, JUMPING BROOK COUNTRY CLUB, NEPTUNE NEW JERSEY

Silver Gull Award

For nearly fifty years, the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council MODC has presented its prestigious Silver Gull Award to deserving recipients around the region who have made a difference in the way we do business at the Jersey Shore. Under the direction of co-chairs Marian Smith and Senator Robert Singer, this pre-eminent affair, attended by over 300 business and community leaders, has become recognized as the pinnacle of awards, recognizing individual and corporate accomplishments in the area of economic development, community service and tourism.

EPS President, Antoinette Musorrafiti and Senior Vice President, John Gagliano graciously accept the 2014 Silver Gull Economic Award as a proud, community based, family run business. EPS looks forward to many more successful years supporting the community, as well as the Department of Defense, by providing high quality products and services within the scope of Training, Fielding and Logistics Support, Engineering and Technical Support, IT and Information Management Solutions, Communications Infrastructure as well as Maritime Services. EPS HOSTS GRADUATE STUDENTS FROM CETYS UNIVERSITY, BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO IN SUPPORT OF THE FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON UNIVERSITY (FDU) ENTERPRISE NETWORK SEMINAR 'DOING BUSINESS IN THE US'.

CETYS University graduate students, through the 'Doing Business in the US' program, were provided with a corporate overview that covered the core areas of the EPS business processes. EPS leaders spoke in an informal atmosphere covering the specific disciplines that create a strong and viable business in today’s economically challenging environment. “EPS is honored to participate in this educational exchange, a program developing relationships that build futures.” said Mr. Al Zimmerman, EPS President and COO.

The program exposed the foreign business students to a one week (July 7-13) international study experience. Mr. Herbert Ouida (Director, FDU’s Global Enterprise Network) states “…This program is another example of FDU's leadership in Global Education.” Mr. Ouida spearheads this program encouraging business leaders to play an important role in this educational exchange.

Toni was one of the government contracting industry experts invited to discuss the changes and strategies they’re deploying to stand out from the competition in Philadelphia this month. The panel covered how their government contracting firms manage their businesses in the current industry landscape, and shared strategies they are employing to succeed in this market.
