EPS Corporation is currently seeking a Technical Illustrator to join our Information Management Solutions group in our Eatontown, NJ office.

Duties Include:
  • Authoring and updating Department of Defense technical manuals by collaborating with engineers and users
  • Proofreading/Quality Assurance (QA) of Content
  • Development of content in using XML authoring tools and in S1000D or military specification compliant format
  • Development of content using the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Interface with customers to understand and communicate requirements
Experience:
  • Requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a technical illustrator including: providing advice on graphic design, layout, and typography, including appropriate treatment to achieve desired audience reaction
  • Requires additional experience, which demonstrates the ability to design, plan, produce illustrations of different subjects using a variety of artistic styles and techniques including computer graphics
  • Proficiency with one or more of the following tools is required - 3D Studio Max, QuarkXpress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, IsoDraw, Maya
  • Experience with the development of 3D Models, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Computer Based Training (CBT) and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) beneficial

Education:

Cyber Surety Specialist (Europe)

Serves as the liaison between USAFE base level customers Higher Headquarters and the MAJCOM. Applies Information Technology (IT) security principles, methods, and security products to protect and maintain the availability, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability of information system resources and information processed throughout the system’s life cycle. Employs a full range of IT security principles, methods, regulations, policies, products and services sufficient to develop specifications to ensure compliance with security requirements for the DOD & AF Authorization and Accreditation programs. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Continuously identifies and analyzes threats and vulnerabilities to the information systems to maintain an appropriate level of protection.
  • Ensures computer software designs address information system security requirements.
  • Accomplishes risk analysis, security testing, and certification due to modifications or changes to computer systems.
  • Assist Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in providing systems security management, technical analysis, and documentation support.

  • Apply policies, principles, and IT security concepts sufficient to carry out activities leading to Authorization & Accreditation of Information Systems and Network Enclaves.
Skill Requirements:
At least 2 years of DoD experience with Risk Management Framework, which includes, but is not limited to, experience with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Air Force IT Investment Portfolio Suite (ITIPS), DISA Systems/Network Approval Process (SNAP), and the DISA Global Interconnection Approval Process (GIAP). Knowledge of a full range of IT security requirements for certification and authorization; network operations & protocols; systems testing and evaluation, and performance management methods sufficient to implement and coordinate activities designed to protect, and restore IT systems, services, and capabilities.
