ENHANCED ARMY GLOBAL LOGISTICS ENTERPRISE (EAGLE)
A BASIC ORDERING AGREEMENT (BOA) UNDER THE ARMY EAGLE CONTRACT AS A LARGE BUSINESS.
This contract has a $23.5 billion program ceiling and Period of Performance beginning 28 September 2012 through 28 September 2017 with a 2-year base period plus 3 one year option periods.
THE ARMY EAGLE PROGRAM IS A MAJOR ARMY LOGISTICS PROGRAM THAT IS DIVIDED INTO 4 FUNCTIONAL AREAS.

The Army will use this contract to perform such functions as transporting and maintaining equipment in and out of theater, resetting equipment so it is ready for deployment, training troops, and maintaining inventory, services and spare parts availability.
The Army Sustainment Command (ASC), Rock Island, IL, in conjunction with the Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) and other Army Commands, lead a comprehensive acquisition to fulfill the Army's future logistics requirements to obtain contract services to support global missions that ensure success of the Army imperatives to sustain the Army’s soldiers, families and civilians, to reset forces to rebuild readiness for future deployments and contingencies, and to transform forces to meet the demands of a persistent conflict in the 21st Century.
EAGLE WILL FULFILL THE ARMY'S FUTURE LOGISTICS REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN CONTRACT SERVICES PERFORMED AT MULTIPLE ARMY INSTALLATIONS AS WELL AS SUPPORTING GLOBAL MISSIONS.
This program will effectively equip forces in current conflicts to rebuild for future deployments and contingencies, and transform forces to meet demanding requirements. Service area requirements that will be fulfilled under this contract fall into the following areas:

Army Eagle contract services will support both CONUS and OCONUS operating environments
Customers for this contract may include all Department of Defense, US Government Agencies, Coalition partners, and foreign governments. The Rock Island Contracting Center (RICC) of the Army Contracting Command (ACC) currently provides cradle to grave contracting support for ASC requirements and will use Army EAGLE as a prime vehicle to support these efforts.
