U.S. NAVY UNDERWATER MINE TECHNOLOGY IDIQ CONTRACT
Foreign Materiel Acquisition (FMA), is a $48.9M hybrid cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for technical expertise in the development and testing of underwater weapons and underwater weapons systems to include the procurement of authentic underwater weapons systems and underwater weapons systems components supporting land, surf zone, very shallow water, shallow water and deep water mines. Work will be managed and performed through EPS' Panama City Mission Support Services division office with additional performance in Montenegro, Bulgaria and Italy. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWC IHEODTD) is the Department of Defense (DoD) Energetics Center and serves as the DoD Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Program Lead.
